So I started my epic smoke. I’ve got two bits and half of a picnic shoulder running around 250 over pecan and cherry smoke. It’s a beautiful morning here in So Cal. About 75 out just a slight breeze. The smoke smells heavenly. There’s about 21 pounds of pork riding in there. It’s going to be shared with my coworkers on Monday. We will have some for dinner tonight and the rest is going to work. It’s the best I can do right now for my fellow front liners. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Saturday.

The pulled pork was a big hit. Everyone enjoyed a delicious distraction for a little while. We spread everything out over several floors. I think that some of my coworkers were a bit surprised that I wasn’t BSing them over my barbecue. Now they are all looking forward to a big celebration barbecue when we finally get past all this and can walk around without masks again. Have a wonderful and safe day.

Nice piece of work, happy that you were able to lighten the load at least for awhile. RAY
