Recently my wife and I had dinner with friends at The Woodshed in Fort Worth - a Tim Love restaurant.  It was quite good.   My friend and I got to go into the smoke house which had about 12 smokers which were the best I had every seen (made me very jealous).   Anyway, the pit master told us he has been working in smokehouses in Texas for about 25 years.   while not giving away all of his secrets, he told us the best rub for pork ribs in his opinion was Country Time Lemonade as a base - and then add your other seasonings you usually use.  He said the lemon flavor is erased and that it "treats the meat really good"

Anyone ever tried this?  I am going to give it a try next weekend - just curious
