I picked up 3.3 lb brisket point and want to make corned beef. I going to use recipe from amazing ribs. Calls for 1 gallon brine. I think 1/2 gallon would be enough. I will use calculator for cure. Should I just half other ingredients?

Yes that will work, just make sure the brisket is completely submerged.

I got it in yesterday. Will keep flipping it. Seems like plenty liquid. Plan on smoking next weekend. Those bought ones have so much liquid and paying by the pound. Hope turns out.
