Great looking meal Richie, I'm afraid I'd be ostracized at work and home if I ate a 1/4 head of cooked cabbage(if you know what I mean).

I'm with you, I just used a little cheesecloth the other day for that. Good looking chunk of meat.. Out with the old and in with the new. :)

Looks good Richie. I've never made corned beef and cabbage. What spices did you add to the cabbage??

Gary I use a pre-made Pickling spice mix,it is basically the same as if you made a Home Made Corned Beef

Nice meal Richie.... I wish we could buy meat for that cheap here.... I have a few briskets in the freezer waiting for some nicer weather.... That is one on my list to do this spring...
