Hey, been a while since I last posted a cookand thr first since Ive gotten my BGE.
Had a poubf of griund beef and groubd pork in the fridge and figured make up a nice loaf for dinner.
Mixed the meat with a bunch of typical bbq spices, bbq sauce and of course breadcrumbs and egg.
Got the egg up to 250 and tossed in the last of the apple chips I had followed by the loaf.
About 20 mins before I pulled the loaf, gave it a coat of a local sauce called Ogre sauce, mix of NC tomato, SC mustard and a vinegar based sauce.
Let the sauce set and out came this tasty nugget for dinner
Let it sit in an insulated bbq my wife got me while making some mashed taters and some simple green beans
And a sliced pict
I can say, not that its very visible, but I did get a smoke ring which Id never was able to bet w the MES. I know the smoke ring is only for show but feel like I actually achieved something
