We raised some corn for feed and to eat, never ever thought it was a smoker item. Whats it like? Its not hardwood, its not sweet is it? I know taste is hard to explain, but .... could you try?

I have a hard time even imagining corn cobs as a fuel/heat source. I just never thought of it before.

I know this place is filled with experts, Guessing this might take one. Or maybe its just not a southern kinda thing.

Corn cob is a very sweet smoke. Tastes great on bacon and ham!

Dried cobs can be hard to find if you're not a rancher or farmer, but Todd Johnson sells pellets made from them.
