I really really REALLY want a GOOD queso recipe. I dig Chili's (restaurant LOL) skillet version. I have tried a few highly rated online and they were ok at best. The Tostito's scares me. Usually salty and I am a salty sailor.

The tostitos is easy for me, too lazy to make my own.

Nepas, this looks like one of my favorite recipes of all time, we call it train wreck (cuz that’s how you feel after eating it, and it kind of looks like one too):
One block of velveeta, cut into cubes
One lb ground beef
One lb jimmy dean hot
One jar mezzeta hot pickled jalapeños chopped
Two cans rotel hot

Brown ground beef & sausage, drain fat and add back to pot on med heat. Add cheese, both cans of rotel and chopped jalapeños. Melt and enjoy w Fritos or tostitos scoops.

I promise you, if you make this recipe and follow it, you will make no other. It’s THE best.

Tried the recipe yesterday with a little twist. Used Tostitos habanero salsa and added in 3/4 block of shredded home smoked cheddar. Everyone loved it. I think next time might dump some ghost pepper hot sauce in to kick it up!

Another variation on the tried and true GB/sausage/Rotel/Velveta recipe, but with a different flavor profile! Thanks for sharing, I may give some a whirl for the games on New Years day.
