Thanks for ANY advice as this will be my first project of this type lol
 
what I would do is download the assembly manual for a propane smoker and go from there as to the parts you need. BTW any pictures of my masterbuilt propane that would help just ask
 
i would use a side burner from a BBQ grill... most other burners put out WAAAAY to many BTU's to be useful..

@daveomak . Yeah that’s pretty much what I figured since I really only want this rig for stuff like ABTs ( possibly even giving cheese or cold smoking a try ) and stuff like that ... so I’ve been looking for ads and what not for old BBQs for the side burner unit.
