Had a competition last week with my new pit got 3rd in chicken I wasn’t happy with it so I changed up a few things with pit and fire and different rub I am happy now !

Congrats on the 3rd Place!
I'd be proud to place in a comp, especially with chicken.

You've two types of thigh presentations there, one done boneless in cupcake pans maybe, and the other more traditional, perhaps just panned?
Those look pretty good to me, maybe work on uniformity a bit more?

They look pretty darn good to me, but for a comp I think they are going to want to see all the thighs the same size. That is why M. Mixon does them in cupcake pans.

Yes mine are same size for comp turn in I wasn’t worried about size today I was trying new rub and pit temps I was using a pellet cabinet I built I built a stick burner for competition so have to adjust my technique some!
