I took a couple packages of Beef Short Ribs out of freezer. Plan is to smoke couple hours that braise in a wine sauce. Will welcome any suggestions. Ended up getting both packages for about $13. Not bad.

that like free! Last time they were on sale here they were about $50 for what you have there.

Suggestion, save a place at the table for me :)

those are on my short list to do, just can't find them and if I do I bet they are way more than $7.99

Good deal Brian, and I bet it will be a good cook . No matter which way
you decide. We love having short ribs. Mona likes hers just done with fried onions
and soya sauce.
Me I like mine on the plate, for a very short time , cooked almost anyway at all.

I’m looking forward to seeing which way you go! I’m on a thyme kick lately. Could also do a nice reduced red wine sauce?

The the Jamaican Pot Roast and Spinners, is a tasty stew, and not something a lot people have had. Short Ribs left whole work fine. It's a large family friendly meal. Still, the recipe can be cut down as needed... JJ

Are you adding any aromatics for the braising step? Onion, roasted garlic, thyme are always good.
I was looking at Gordon Ramsey recipe. Might use that after getting some smoke and color on them. Only herb left growing is Rosemary. I really dont care for the flavor but I love smell it.
