I was in Costco this weekend, getting some salmon for another batch of lox, when I came across a beautiful precooked turkey breast. It’s unsliced, and I have tossed around the idea of throwing it in the smoker tomorrow night, while cold smoking my lox.

Any thoughts? Has anyone tried this before? I love smoked turkey, but I’ve never smoked breast meat that has already been cooked.

I may just do it to see what happens, but figured I’d ask around first.

Sounds like a winner to me, but since there is no cure in it I wouldn't let it smoke more than a couple of hours, then either slice it up & eat it , or put it back in the fridge.
