I want to buy this smoker
But i dont understand wood pellats. Apparently wood chips like i can buy in a bag in grocery store wont go far. I am determined to learn to smoke a brisket properly. Ive mastered smoking whole chickens on A propane grill so i think i can do it. If i but this grill am i signing up for spending money on these pellet things? One cant justbput wood in the right hand side and set it on fire?

Welcome to the group!  Hey, for 25 bucks, I'd buy anything. I don't have a clue either, but at that price, I would learn.

I'd buy it too.

You could sell it for scrap & get your $25 back.

Welcome...I don't think that is a Pellet Grill. Looks like a Offset Vertical Smoker where the Fire Box doubles as a Wood/Charcoal Grill. For smoking, you can built a small fire on the right side and burn just Wood or use Charcoal and add Wood Chunks for smoke generation to the vertical box. If you wish to use it as a Grill, build the desired size Hot Charcoal fire on the right side and add meat over direct heat...For $25! I would be there as fast as I could get my butt out the door! Some Sanding and a coat of High Temp Paint and the $25 would turn into $200 and you would never even light a match! New Braunfels, made in USA are no longer manufactured and the originals were built to last. They are Highly sought after by those that know what they are...JJ
