I never made mustard before. I might give this a shot. Note: Not my recipe.
Homemade stadium mustard:
  • put mustard seeds and beer in a non-reactive bowl and let stand overnight.
  • pour into a food processor and pulse several time to break up the seeds. then run the processor until the seeds are ground up to the size you prefer(the bigger the seed pieces, the greater the heat).
  • add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and blend completely, please note, this should be thicker than yellow mustard, but not much. Store in a squeeze bottle in the fridg.. Enjoy with grilled brats (family favorite)

I had to loosen my belt just looking at those pictures!

I never had the Cincinnati chili before. I knew it was served over spaghetti but never combined the two.

Thanks Steve, I think I will try this it sounds really good, but I think it might need some horseradish.

John,
Your Coneys and 3Way looks great!
Good stuff, keep it coming.

Been too long since I've had any of that prime Midwest comfort food.
Yum!

Let me say this,
"This ain't Chile!"
And immediately follow with,
"This is chili, chili dog sauce, hot dog sauce, Cincinnati Chili."
And it's good, even great if the right place is serving it up.
I used to indulge when I was a long haul trucker and passing through.

Chocolate in Chile or Chili isn't too strange.
As a matter of fact I use it in my competition Chile.
Chile's Chipotle Chile / Sweet Chipotle Chile
It provides a great hint of Mole to the dish, adds another layer to the flavor.

Another great chili dog is "The Varsity" in downtown Atlanta. Order one of those, a deep fried onion ring loaf, and a fountain Coca-Cola. Great times. John, That meal looks coma worthy!!! My Mom used to make chili mac when I was a kid, and we would have to go to our separate room after eating.

Thanks Chile!

Know what you mean Bear, I have to ratchet it back now, but a fling every now and then is still OK.

I don't have much good working lungs left.
If I eat too much (And that aint much), my gut pushes up on my diaphragm, putting pressure on the only part of my lungs that works yet (The Bottom part) and I can't breath.
That's why I always say "It's all in the portion control".
