CI Elk Round Steak Medallions Butter Basted Finish With Simple Sides!

Hey all, simple dinner we done Tuesday night… Took out some elk round steak medallions… seasoned with some Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse seasoning cause we like that on about everything! It has a slight buttery taste that compliments the meat very well… at least to our tastes!

Cooked up in the CI pan with some butter for just a couple minutes on each side! Just enough time to get a good browning on both sides!

Then finished off each with a quick butter baste!

Let them rest for a few minutes while we plated up the sides… sides were simple, some Texas Toast and some fresh carrots tossed in just a bit of Slap Ya Mama seasoning!

Like I say, simple and quick meal to end a busy day… but really hit the spot!

I want to elk hunt so freakin bad! Not just for the awesome experience in the field, but the awesome experience on a plate like that! Kudos, that looks great!

Those are perfect Justin! I have some moose versions of those in the freezer and might just have to do the same thing!

Man, I’ll bet that moose would absolutely hit the spot! That is some phenomenal meat!

Just a side note… my son is torn on putting in on elk or moose this next season! Be interesting to see what he chooses!
