Merry Christmas everyone! I'm spinning a 14lb turkey. I dried it overnight in the fridge and rubbed it with herbed butter under and on top of the skin before going on the kettle.

Set up the kettle for indirect heat and a full chimney of kingsford applewood briquettes.

Thanks for looking!

It cooked in 2 hours! I added another chimney of lit coals after an hour. It was windy and in the low 40's. I had all the vents wide open trying to keep the heat up. Temps at the upper lid were between 375-400.

Thanks guys! I've spun two turkeys and they both have been fantastic!
