In our family we do our "fancy meal" Christmas Eve, then stay in our pj's and have snacks/appetizers Christmas Day. So tonight's meal was prime rib smoked on the CharGriller Gravity, twice baked potato casserole, and hot honey carrots with asparagus.

The main character of tonight's feast. 9.87 lbs. of deliciousness.

🎄 MERRY CHRISTMAS, SMF! 🎄

That's a lot of awesome beef. Judging by the cut shot you don't have a lot of left overs.
French onion soup is our meal plans for tomorrow.
Merry Christmas to you

That prime rib looks absolutely incredible perfect color and seasoning.
Smoked to 127° and resting is the way to do it.
Your Christmas Eve “fancy meal” tradition sounds like a total win.
