Chix To The Coop

Yesterday I added the 13, 9 weekers to the coop. Built a pen for them so they could get used to one another. The pecking order hen could kill them.

And this morning I bought 6 baby easter chix, they will lay light blue eggs.
When they go to the coop we will have 32

I think when I retire I’d get some chickens except for the city ordinance against it. My property in back is such that no one would know unless neighbors complained.
