Hi everybody. New to smoking and found this website. Looked at alot of threads and reviews and decided to buy a WSM {there is no going back}. This is my second smoke and have been using chips soaked in water for 1/2 hour. Does not seem to smoke for very long. Does anybody prefer using wood chunks instead, in there WSM. Todays smoke is a tri tip rubbed on both sides with McCormick grill mates Montreal Steak seasoning and left to set for 1 hour. Then placed in smoker

Most of us WSMers use dry chunks!!

 Have a great day!!
