I have a friend who has been a member here for some time and after helping him smoke some cheese (which is going quickly) I thought that I would join up and pick up a few more tips.  

Looks like a great place for me to learn.

Thanks for the welcomes.  I will try to post some pictures as I "see what I can do" with what I learn here.  I don't think that you have much to worry about me in the way of spamming the forum nor will I participate in any disputes about which rub or sauce is best.

I forgot to add that the moderators are doing a good job of pointing out search options, etc.  I have visited some forums where this just doesn't happen.  So "Kudos" for they way the site is set up and how you are running it.
