Where's the cheapest place to buy wood for smoking? I'm not physically able to split wood.

I’n mostly a pellet guy so I don’t use alot of wood splits, but the big question will be is this for primary fuel, aka stick burner or are you using it to supplement another fuel? Also where you are located will play a big role.

You might try CraigsList or Facebook Market place if you are looking to buy a lot.
Beware, a lot of them will tell you they are selling you a cord (or other amount) and it won't be near that.
Go look before paying.

Finding a local supplier (already split) would be the cats meow... Internet sales is expensive..

As said above ... Check all the "for sale" sites... Not sure what kind of cooking wood is readily available in your area...

The big box stores sell mini splits... Might want to buy 3-5 bags for a first trial run.... You may not even like the challenge...

I found a place 15 minutes from me. I emailed him asking what he charges.

Ok, the guy near me will sell me 8 cubic ft of wood for 100 bucks. On a price per lb basis, that's super cheap.

This is the best option I have found:

That was gonna be my recommendation if a local source wasn't found

But it sounds like he found a close one already... Good deal ..

Now to see what they have to offer...
