Cheap pellets? Moved from nashville to central coast ca

anybody know where an inexpensive place to buy pellets on the central coast cali? Used to get them at academy sports in Tennessee but havent found an inexpensive alternative in ca yet.

With the tremendous increase in pellet smokers, you are able to find them in many grocery stores, Walmarts, WinCo's, Kroger's, etc.

To be honest there are tons of pellets out there but I still order mine thru Amazon Prime, free shipping!

I live on the Monterey Peninsula. You can get Trager pellets at Ace, and most other hardware stores.

If you want good pellets for smoking, just buy them from Todd (A-Maz-N), here on this website.

I can find pellets but not for a good price. Mostly running 20 bucks for a 20# bag. I am used to getting that for 10 bucks

Where are you located? Cash and Carry has Bear Mountain pellets for a decent price. They are alder based but have a nice flavor. But I usually order LumberJack from BBQPelletsOnline. Delivered to NorCal in a group buy is about $0.38/lb. There's usually a group buy going on somewhere not too far.

I was in a pinch this weekend and needed some apple pellets and found them at my local Academy store. Don't know where you are at but if you have Academy's by you they are reasonable. B&B apple pellets for #13.99, 20# bag.

Or as others have said, do the on line thing. That's typically what I do, get home and there they are on my front porch. What a great country we live in lol !!!!
