Charcoal brand?

Used Royal Oak Sunday, but was surprised to see it was of mostly pieces; however, anytime I've bought Lazzari, it's full of 3" rounds and good sized chunks.
Last bag of Lazzari I opened had several pieces that would not fit,length wise, in our XL BGE. Also had several pieces that were over 10" in diameter. I pay $17 for 40 pounds of Lazzari....don't really understand how folks say RO is such a great deal....$14 for 17.6 pounds just seems a bit high to me....

If you get around SF, the Lazzari plant in Brisbane has a retail outlet that sells them for less.
