I hope this is the right place to post this, forgive me if its not. Im looking for something to cover the hole where the stock thermometer sits on the lid of a Char Griller Pro. Ive seen pictures of what people have used, looked to be some kind of casted steel or iron, but can not find a discription of what its called or anywhere that sells that piece. Can anyone help me out? Thanks for looking

Leave the stock thermometer there and drill two holes on the lid and install to new river country ones

Good advice

I strongly recomend taking the stock thermometer off of the grill, it is a safety hazard, mine exploded just the other day wile I was bringing some freshly lit charcoal to temp, luckily I was looking away at the moment and did not get a face full of plastic shrapnel.
