Change of plans w brisket

Hello all. I was planning on smoking a brisket late tomorrow, but plans changed and I won't smoke it until Saturday night. The problem is, I seasoned it w SPOG a couple hours ago. Is it okay to leave it alone until I plop it on Saturday night? Or will more than 24 hours of having it seasoned ruin it? I see on other posts that most people season it one day before, or the same day. I'm looking at 48 hours now. If anyone has any suggestions or pointers, that'll be great!

Iknow it isn't the same but I seasoned a pork shoulder about 48 hours ahead by accident and it turned out great.

The salt having more time to act as brine is a good thing.

Just don't leave it on the counter for 48 hours and the brisket should be fine, real fine
