Ok, posted about vacuum sealing meats. Then starting looking at vacuum sealers, then seen the chamber vacuum sealers......like I need any more stuff.... but I want to vacuum seal some bulk meats. So guess I will end up getting one....looking between the vevor line or amid amour. Looked like decent ones for the prices. Anyone have any of these machines

I'd love to have a chamber vac sealer. The hurdles are the size bags the affordable ones will seal, and the upfront cost. I realize that the bags cost a fraction of what regular vac bags cost, but it will take some time to realize that saving.

We got an Avid Armor USVX. Game changer vacuum packing soups and sauces saving lots of space in the freezer. They have scratch and dent sales too. Just put your name on the list and you'll get an email when one is available..
Fantastic customer service! Only regret is that I should have gone one size bigger.

I can only comment on the Avid Armor Ultra that we have. Fantastic machine, we have had clamshell vacuum sealers for 20 years but over the past few years have used this and it's so much better. Easier to use, works with liquids and never looses vacuum in the freezer.

I've got an Avid Armor Ultra also and wish I would have went this way years ago. You can vac and seal large items outside the chamber so you're not restricted in any way. They've got a good sale going on the USV20 right now.

I would love a chamber but cannot justify the volume, yet. Need to drop some merchandise to reclaim some space.
Yeah , I know . He got a lot of good advice . Just wondering if he saw or had thoughts on any of it .
Problem is sometimes we give too much good advice. Some call it enabling, some call it TMI!

Been thinking about a chamber sealer for a while now but we seal soups and such in canisters so justifying one is really hard.

I've had the Vevor DZ-260C for maybe 18 months now. No complaints, works great. Found it on sale at Home Depot for around $325 if I remember correctly. If you can go with a little smaller size look at the DZ-260A. Can sometimes be found for around $225.

One thing to note that these things are very heavy. Going to have to find a home for it as you not going to want to move it to much.

I got a Vevor DZ-260 last year and have been very happy with it, I got mine on recommendation from a buddy that has the model that is one size down. He has really used the heck out of his and has quite the sealing station setup in his garage, he claims that it is the same pump and everything as a VacMaster if I remember correctly. Got mine through Vevor at a reduced price after registering or something like that $380'ish shipped to my door in ND.
