So I'm in Nashville on business and suggest to my boss that we eat some "Q" because Tn. is known for it. We plug in the GPS hit BBQ and a bunch of places pop up... we decide to go to Center Point on 1212 Main (I put the address because there are two & i'm not sure if ther are affiliated).
Anyway... we pull up and it is a little shack like place and I'm thinking "perfect"...... It was anything but.
We both ordered the brisket plate... the waitress brought out these poor little slices of meat maybe a 1/4 lb each. We tried it and YUK! The meat was bland, and not all that tender. The sauce was ok and the sides were not great.
I gave this place waaayyy too much credit because of all the autographed pics on the wall... everything from the late great Johnny Cash to the President himself.
(Not the best way to celebrate 30 days of sobriety, but bad Q isn't going to bring me down!)
