Casing package size

That is what I was afraid of.  Seems pretty expensive considering it is $50 for 60 pounds of sausage.  The casing is one of the most expensive ingredients.

I guess I'm surprised by that.

Go to the meat department of your local supermarket. For a hank, I pay $16 for pork and $24 for sheep casings. They are really good quality casings and far better than i have ever ordered online.
 
Make sure you are ordering the right casing size. The 22-24mm are for small diameter hot dogs like hebrew nationals or snack sticks. The 24-26 is for the larger hot dog or breakfast sausage.  you will need a small tube for the 22-24mm casings. I use B&P

That is good to know.  I find it difficult to find the right sizes because hot dog is listed for almost all sheep casing sizes :)

I'll get the 24-26mm ones.
