Canning burner for your electric stove..

Never heard of a canning burner until this morning.....

Looks like it has a beefed up base to hold the heavy weight of canning pots. What is sad about needing a "Canning burner" is the skimping of materials in products these days for cost savings. The old saying of "They don't make 'em like they used to" has never been more true!

Have a Jen-air range in the shop kitchen, have canning element. It is a bit beefer to hold the weight of the pot.
Don't believe the element is any more wattage.
