Can I store wet fibrous casings once soaked?

I had soaked a bunch of fibrous casings and then my help had to unexpectedly take off before we could stuff them. Can I save these? Keep them wet or dry them off? Or are they now worthless?

dry them very good, slip into a sealed bag and toss in the refergerator. Use First and you should be fine. Just my thoughts.

I would go with OS if you will finish the job in the next 24 hours, otherwise hang to dry and re-soak when needed...JJ

JG, I recently used some fibrous casing that had been soaked but never used, I dried and put back in the package  with the unused ones. Six months later I  soaked them again and they were fine !

Yep, re-use them,,,, I hang them to dry, then just put in ziploc back with my other casings

Air dry only, and prop open the end while hanging with a toothpick or something else so that it dries pretty evenly and doesn't have any spots for moisture to remain.

Never, ever, try to dry them with a heat gun!  I refuse to answer how I came to that conclusion!
