I'm looking to acquire a gas smoker of the vault/vertical type.
Been looking at these two and was wanting some opinion or reviews, insights on common issues or needed mods, build quality and how well they do the job.

I've a CharBroil Tru-infrared Commercial 4 burner gas grill and it is natural gas ready, I see the CCSV24 is too, is the Masterbuilt convertible to NG?

I've had a smoke Vault for several years, it has never let me down.

After about 4 or 5 years of use I completely rebuilt it with parts from Camp Chef.

Complete burner assy including ignighter & knob, grease tray, water pan, & chip pan.

Total price was $75.

It's a very well made smoker. It does leak around the door, but I never did anything about it.

With the leaks I can still run it up to 450 degrees.

I can't compare it to the MB, because I have never used one.

Did my homework around the internetz and finally bought the CCSV24, it'll be here Monday.
Now to get the parts to setup my exterior natural gas line, it's just a capped pipe right now.
And I need the conversion kits for both the CCSV and my CharBroil.
