Finally got done with my MES40 stand. Left cabinet will have sealed tubs for dust/pellets. Top drawer is a thin sacrificial drawer that will just catch grease when you pull out a rack of dripping food. Bottom drawer fits unused racks and pans. Right side has a mailbox mod ( different steel box) with AMNPS. Running cold smoke from the box now to season the new pipe.

Very nicely done. I love the rustic treatment on the wood.

Now that right there is Smoker Furniture for the patio!
Very nice!
What's that smoke generator? Just a nice box you adapted, or ?
Can we peek inside it? Nice air damper on it.

MAN. What a set up! That is a work of art. That sure beats my little wooden dolly with the tie down strap around my MES. Very nice design and craftsmanship.

I think it was a metal box used to file papers. Nothing special inside. Just some rods to keep the AMPNS off the bottom for better air flow and a small ash catching pan

Thanks! It ended up becoming a little more involved than I originally planned. I had a specific location for which I was “granted permission” to store it on the porch. That ended up being more trouble to design for than fitting the smoker on the cart!

I bought a little dolly off Amazon that had two handle slits in the sides. The dolly was within 1" of both dimensions of the smoker base. I ran a tie down strap through the handle slits and lashed down the MES to the dolly. That part was great. My only problem is on the couple of smokes I've done now I find myself needing more space to set stuff. You definitely have my wheels turning.....
