Hey everyone! I am new to the forum, so I wanted to introduce myself. I moved to Texas 2 years ago and my neighbor got me into BBQ. I started doing briskets in a wood smoker (bought from Academy). However, I am in a urology residency and work >80hrs per week, so the 12 hour smokes constantly watching the fire on my one day off weren't going to cut it. A colleague informed me about an electric smoker he bought (MES 40) and I decided to try it. For the week that I've owned it, I've already tripled what I've smoked in the past!

I'm looking forward to learning a lot from you all and making some great food. Thanks in advance for all your advice. As I learn a thing or two I hope maybe I can contribute as well.
