a crack in the fire ring. Now the only remaining ceramic part that will be original is the dome....

Not familiar with the BGE. Can that be patched with high temp cement or do you have to replace? Those things are pricey.

For the kind of money those things cost, I would expect many years of problem free use. Is cracking common? How old is it?...JJ

Lifetime warranty on the ceramic parts. We have had this thing since 2004 or so. Moved it from AZ to WA, then moved it again when we got here.
