County doesn't maintain our roads. I volunteer some time, fuel/oil and use of my chainsaws. Yesterday I spent some time tree trimming. Anything that can be used as firewood I split and deliver it to a disabled Vet friend. The rest I get to play pyro.....

IJ good for you helping a Vet the karma will be repaid. Thanks as a Vet

As the son of a Vet I also thank you. Not many people are willing to help them out these days, it's sad the way things are going.
It is indeed sad. My wife has gets very agitated when she reads of how funds are sent to other countries when they have a disaster of some sorts..yet our Vets are more or less left out in the cold in more ways than one.

Our wives get together a couple of times a week. I try to go visit Ed at least every couple of weeks when the wives are at one of there sewing classes. I really enjoy talking to Ed, he has some very interesting tales to tell....

Nothing like trying to burn freshly cut Ponderosa Pine. Our Redbone Coonhound pups like chewing on sticks. They grabbed a branch off the trailer and took off with it. They got into a tugging contest with it, had to laugh. Azul likes watching the smoke billowing. May go get another load tomorrow.
