On Friday, I tried smoking some cheddar for the first time.  The neighbors had their laundry hanging outside, so I had to bring the smoker out to the parking lot.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to monitor the process closely, temps got out of hand, and several of the pieces melted.

I didn't get any pics of those, but, I did salvage what I could.  The smoked cheddar was intended as a snack, but I decided to put some on some burgers (the ECB is the Smoke 'n' Grill, after all) today, and they turned out quite well.  The final touch was blasting the tops with a butane culinary torch.

Those look nice . I no longer have an ECB , however I've had a few (smokers , not drinks )

I need to get out and do some Stuffed Burgers , Mmmmm , good.

Have fun and . . .

Those look delicious.  I haven't tried smoking cheese yet.  Must put on my smoking bucket list.
