Curious what others do to store burger patties. I came up with what’s in the picture but would love to see if anyone is doing something else.
Off topic/On topic- these are patties, but not hamburgers. They are pljeskavice, Pattie version of cevapcici (cevaps). Still the same storage issue.

SOCD, I don't see a picture but any premade patties at my house are double wrapped in freezer paper , they last for months in the freezer .

Sorry about that, pic attached now. Each patty has a top and bottom 4.5” patty sheet for easy separation, then frozen in small stacks, then into the gusseted poly bag 8 patties per bag ( basically a bread bag).
This round I did 30lbs ( half beef, half pork) so roughly 90 patties.

My operation looks like this .
After grinding , I weigh out , form and onto a tray .

I pre season mine , and stack up in 3's with plastic wrap in between .

Then I cut through the wrap , leaving stacks of 3 .
I wrap each stack in plastic wrap and into a bag to freeze .
Stores flat in the freezer .

Anything I go through within a month , I've been wrapping in plastic wrap and putting in a freezer bag .
I do enough processing that I need to save the vac bags for the whole muscle stuff I buy on sale .
Just bought anouther 100 ' roll .

Just the 2 of us these days AND because stuff happens ...
Anything I want to save gets par frozen and vac packed. We're leaving for Florida in 3 weeks so anything left in the freezer I want to eat it, not toss it, next spring.

Vac bags are cheap, meat is not.

Thanks everyone for your responses, looks like freeze and vac is the way forward.

I would think when folks say they par-freeze then vac seal, they mean par-freeze one stack of patties with separators already in place, take that whole thing and vac seal it. Not freeze 4 patties individually, add separators and vac seal, since that way means there's going to be airspace you can't vac out, and they'll freezer burn if that's the case. Make sure you can get all the air out of anything par-frozen of the shelf life will be considerably less. Might be fine for months, but won't be fine for years.

Right , but if you're going to use some short term , wrap them in freezer grade plastic wrap and use a zip lock freezer bag . I've sealed on Saturday , just to cut it open the following week .
90 burgers you would want to vac seal some for sure .
Also , if your vac sealer has a pulse function you might be able to skip the pre freeze .
Not burgers , but all sealed with a pulse setting on a LEM vac sealer .

May I ask, what is a pulse setting on a vac sealer? Goes without saying I don't have a LEM, but it might happen someday.

what is a pulse setting on a vac sealer?
It's a manual on / off button . Like pulsing a food processor .
Draw the air out a little at a time and stop before it smashes the contents . It holds the suction , then you hit the seal button .

I do NOT have one of those, but I’ll keep a watch for them on sale hopefully on Black Friday.

Gotcha. Mine isn't quite as elegant, but sorta similar. I can vac mine and hit the seal button before it stops in order to keep it from smashing the contents to bits, or sucking liquid out if there's liquid in the bag. I can see where pulsing would be helpful at times. Especially working out extra air when there's liquid in there.
