I love my Bunn. This morning it tripped breaker on power strip. Maybe be telling me getting time to replace. Seems the newer ones are those speed brewers. I tried one last year and it overfilled the filter on half pots every time. Also the water stays heated 24 hours and I dont want that. Ended up returning it. I am using the high filters. No problem with current one overfilling. I really want to stick with the internal hot water tank type. Anyone have a maker with internal hot water tank they can suggest?

Not sure what style or year you have , but there was an issue with them that the lid switch caused them to catch fire . I would unplug it .

They sent me new parts , I threw it all in the trash .

We have a new Bunn. Its a speed brew. Like you we didn’t want the water to be heated 24hrs soooo, we bought a digital timer. The Bunn heats up the water at 4:45am till 10:00am. Also, we changed out the filter head for a better more stronger coffee. We ordered that thru Bunn.

This the one I have. I found some like new ones for $85. Think i might just get one of those.

Do you have any issues with overflow? Does the head speed up or slow down flow?

I went ahead and order one like I have that said like new for $86. Normally these are new just damaged packaging. I more than got my money's worth one mine.

Never really cared for coffee out of the Bunn. Had one at work (commercial style) and a home unit. I always thought the water ran thru the coffee too fast and didn't get a good flavor. Have been using Ninja for the last 8-10 yrs.

If you like it , get it . Looks like a good unit .
I like the Ninja . But seems that with any of them , the first brew is the best . Slowly falls off from there .

Long story short, we had 2 Bunn’s over about 20 years. First one lasted about 15 years second one about 5 years. We now have the combination Keurig with k-cups on one side and regular coffee pot on the other. All I can say is I sure do miss the Bunn.

I’ve had several Bunn coffee makers over the years and finally said enough is enough with the brand. My reasons are with the earlier models a rubber gasket internally would eventually go bad after a few years.
Another no go was the 24/7 heating of the water is a waste of good energy and money.
I never liked how fast the brew that went through the filter so I would always double up on the filter.
Finally I bought a Technivorn Moccamaster and haven’t looked back at all. Yes it’s double the money but buy once and cry once. After putting the water in and turning the machine on I have a ten cup pot in 4 minutes piping hot! My brother has had one for several years now and with descaling his machine every three months they should last for many years.

Went and took a look at these when you first posted . $389.00 price tag needed some thought .
Got on Prime days this morning , and they had the one with the glass pot for $169.00
Still took some thought , but ended up pulling the trigger . Ninja still going strong , but figured I'd grab one while the deal was there .

I'm glad I am not seeing that deal. I bought enough stuff all ready! Delivery guy going to be cussing me out! Picked up 4 gallons peanut oil. The one thing I was waiting for not discounted yet, The Meta Quest 3 virtual reality headset. They have the 126gb but want the 512.
