I bought some seasoning in bulk. 12 boltles. Has any one vacuumed the entire container for long term storage. We don't have any room in our freezer. Too much meat. What do you do for long term storage

What kind of bottles did it come in? If they came in sealed containers I would just put them in a dry, dark place and I think they would be fine.

I never thought of that, might be a great idea.

After opening, vac them in smaller batches, bring them out as you use them up.

Wait and see what others think on this, but I'm probably going to try it.

I learn a new trick every day here.

What I have been doing lately is putting them in canning jars and vac sealing with a foodsaver canning jar sealer attachment. I have both wide mouth and regular mouth sizes. I think they are $10 each.

Dang, keep 'em coming folks.

I hate buying those overpriced little bottles

in the grocery stores.

But I hate old dead spices worse.

I will be able to buy the big bottles and fix them up in small batches.

Keep Mrs. gear off my tail about old spices.

This is going to work out.
