So I did 2 briskets today and was wondering if anyone saves the drippings. I was thinking of making gravy or something. Has anyone ever done it
I have never done it,maybe try a cup with a rue

Looks real dark may give a bitter taste IMHO

I think I would use it for AuJus.

A little red wine & some seasoning would make a great dipping sauce.

I refrigerate it, remove the solid fat, slice the brisket and pour the drippings over the brisket. Talk about flavor and juiciness, wow!
