I've never done this to a brisket,is there any advantage to doing so?I've done quite a few and at worst were good and at best insanely delicious.I don't want to mess with success but I'm always looking for new ways to make it even better.
 
If you want to add flavor and moisture to the brisket, then I would inject it.
