I love my Yoder Wichita Loaded

But there are some things that my WSM is the better tool for

And Chicken is one of them

Went to Dillon's Saturday looking for something to smoke and walked away with 3 Chicken quarters, 4lbs of thighs

They were brined overnight in Slaughterhouse Brine and have been seasoned inside and out .. resting for a few hours right now

It's funny how you get used to using one smoker for one meat & another smoker for something else.
I do the same thing & as hard as I try, my Smoke Vault is the absolute chicken wing king. I'm sorry to say that, I hope my Lang doesn't feel neglected, but when it comes to wings the SV just does them perfect!! So why fight it!

Yes.

I always do chicken and almost always do ribs on the WSM, the WSM is very little maintenance, its just too easy.

Now, with the Yoder.

I like the activity of smoking and I like my stick burner because I get to monitor it and maintain it … It gives me something to do for a day. However with fuel cost vs cost of meat, you can not beat the WSM
