I made up a two pound batch of Wisconsin Brats using the recipe from this forum. I used the Brats to make up a dish that my kids love known as Brats and Tots. I wish I could remember where I came across the original recipe so I could properly credit it but this is my variation.
Brown bite sized pieces of the brats with sauteed onions.
Add a can of cream of mushroom soup and simmer until integrated.
Pour meat mixture into a baking pan and add a layer frozen vegetables. (optional)
Add a later of tater tots.
Cover with a layer of shredded cheese, sharp cheddar in this case.
Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.
Go to the trough.
