Boneless & Skinless Chicken Thighs

I never tried Grilling these on my Weber “Q” before, so I figured it was time.
I love Chicken Thighs, but it can be a hassle getting all the meat from between the bones.
It’s so nice to be able to eat the whole thing, even if you do miss out on my beloved Chicken Skin.

So I removed the big triangle of Chicken Fat from the one end of each of them, because Chicken fat is not one of my favorite Fats.
Mrs Bear put these in a baking dish for awhile (1 hour @ 350°), just to make sure they get done inside.
I did this same thing in my SV one time, but Chicken Thighs don’t need any Tenderizing, so awhile in the Oven is Fine.
The Important part is the Grilling, so I flip them around a few times on my “Q”, while brushing on some of Mrs Bear’s special BBQ sauce.
When I get them all Bubbly & get some nice Grill marks on them they’re done.

Then they got plated, and we added some Peas, and Mashed Taters with Cream of Chicken soup for gravy.

NOTE: I'll tell you what---I can real easy get used to this "NO BONES" Thing!!!

And for Dessert, some of my Favorite Strawberry Shortcake. (No bones in that either!!) :D

Enjoy the Pics!!

Another one of my favorites. Looks good bud ..

Boneless thighs are my favourite part of the chicken. Beyond just grilling, they're excellent in any dish because of their smaller size for easier plating and portions...and they pick up flavours very well.

Might have to go and pick some up now my self Bear... people wanted me to do some chicken and veggies on the chargriller this week after all...

Bear, let me know if there are any houses for sale near you LOL. I’m ready for bear Q school

Hey where's mine dang that bear sure don't share any food that's for sure. Looks good love them thighs.

Looking good once again! That's the best part of the chicken in my opinion.

Big ol' ruff and tuff soldier and you boil your ribs before you cook 'em? AND I though the bride's Raspberry surprize was your favorite. <Chuckles>

BTW I did try it and it was pretty outstanding. We just didn't have raspberries around here growing up, I am thinking now they are like a surprize in my mouth. They do make excellent jelly.

Good looking meal, course Ms.Bear always takes good care of you.

Sister brought me 1/2 bushel of beautiful large just ripened peaches today. Gonna be using a lot of sugar this week, I can already tell.

We gotta give you some reading lessons:
#1 When did I ever Boil Ribs???
#2 Strawberry Shortcake is one of my Favorite Desserts, but that doesn't change the fact that my ALL-Time Favorite Pie is "Mrs Bear's Raspberry Chiffon Pie", which is exactly what I always say. Strawberry Shortcake is not a Pie.

Haha, dangit missed my opportunity

Might be more for sale soon, now that they're seeing Black Bears within a half mile of my house.
I told Mrs Bear she might want to take my Model #88 (.308) with her when she goes on her evening walks.

My favorite is Thighs.
Mrs Bear likes the Drums.
But we both prefer Breast for Sammies.

.308? You could just walk with her and carry your Kabar. See a bear, just growl back at them and they'll know you ARE Da'Bear! You could hold hands too, with your bride, not the bears.

Can't find boneless thighs around here but that isn't a real show stopper. For us: trim off the fat, apply salt, pepper and beau monde then zap in micro for approx 13 min. That really melts off most of the remaining fat, ergo I get to keep the skin on :D. After that they're on the grill for the final 10-15 minutes where they get done throughout and still very moist. BTW: we baste them on the grill with a mixture of melted butter and lime juice. That sauce looks great Bear!

Thank You Schlotz!!
Hmmm, Melted Butter & Lime Juice---interesting.
