I just did a thing. Might end up on the couch for this one. Lowe's has whole cryovac NY Strip loins for sale at 4.99/lb. Well they were out of the boneless but the meat dept manager brought out bone in for me to choose from. So I bought 2.

Now what to do with them........

I just bought a whole bone in loin. Thankfully they offer to cut it however you like so I had them do nice steaks then I vac seal each one. When I get boneless I just cut them myself. Shouldn’t be that hard to bone it out. Great price 👍

OK so decided that I wanted steaks but my bone saw needs new blade. So with that being said I deboned one of the strip loin and cut it into steaks. Let me tell you I forgot how much work it is to debone a large strip loin. Don't think I have done it in over 20 yrs. Anyway I ended up with a decent amount of steaks, bones that I broke down into individual bones and two piles, One of grind and one of tallow. I also have the two ends cuts. Not sure if I want to grind them or have them for breakfast or steak tips.

I have new stainless steel blades coming in for my bone saw so the other one I will have a few more options on.

Decided to cook up the two ends pieces for lunch on the new to me 14" weber. Didn't get any shots of the weber but got some after shots.

Took me a minute to figure out that Lowes is a grocery down south.
I was wondering how a hardware store could be selling meat? Nice price on those; I would have bought 2 at that price, too!
