Bloody Mary time!

I'm always looking out for new mixers for bloody Mary's. Picked this up the other day.

I had some without the booze first. It is actually pretty good. I added a dash of salt to it.
Then added a splash of vodka. 1 shot for this amount.
Verdict? Not impressed with it. For some reason it just didn't "work "with the vodka. This isn't the first time I had a mixer that didn't blend well with the booze.
Other than making my own mixer. I enjoy using Clamato juice. Or Mr and Mrs T's everything but the kitchen sink mixer.
What are your favorites for bloody Mary's?

V8 tobasco tomato juice works well. Why didn't it blend well? Was the mix not tasty to begin with?

Around home we like Mr. and Mrs. T's. We just got back from Deadwood last week... one bartender at our hotel/casino makes the best darn bloody marys I've ever had!

V8 tobasco tomato juice works well. Why didn't it blend well? Was the mix not tasty to begin with?

The mix was fine to begin with. Pretty tasty. But with vodka. Something didn't work. Never had that before. V8 tobasco is ok. But, for me. Lacking in other areas. Mr and Mrs mixer beats that IMHO. I like the bits of pickles, garlic, and other veggies.

Not a bad mixer. I have a couple cans in the fridge. I haven't seen the real dill one before. Never heard of the Kosmos brisket mop either. More to google!

I do several different versions. My favorite mix is Loaded Bloody Mary mix. This one is done with a breaded pork tenderloin a piece of gorgonzola and a couple blue cheese olives.
I like them with eggs benedict.

I was in Cancun years ago and same thing . Best I've ever had . Turns out he was using beef broth mixed with the tomato juice from scratch . Better than the Beefamato .

Actually, I just mixed an 8 oz Mary with the Zing Zang and I used 1/2 oz of Brisket Mop.

Its very good.
