I'm getting some areas on the inside of my smoker that looks like blistering or peeling of the inside coating.
I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if there is a fix.
Can I just wire brush it off and spray a coating of high temperature paint?

Advice will be appreciated.

Masterbuilt 30" two door upright single burner.

Thanks,

Just the smoke coating flaking more than likely.

Wire brush it, spray it with Pam, and then run it at 250 or so with smoke for a couple of hours.

NO PAINT in the smoke chamber.

Wire brushed the chamber then spayed it down with vegetable oil.
Had some leftover mesquite so I used that to season it for around four hours.
Chamber looks great!
I don't know if people realize the amount of information and care members have for each other.
Kudos to the site!
