I bought a used pellet grill that had been well used. There are grease stains on most surfaces. I would like to clean it up to repaint it. I've used Simple Green with a 3M coarse scrubbing pad but still can't get them off. What else should I try?

Sand thrown it’s direction really hard
 
Wire wheel and re paint it. And then add gasket
