Best method to clean?

I bought a used pellet grill that had been well used. There are grease stains on most surfaces. I would like to clean it up to repaint it. I've used Simple Green with a 3M coarse scrubbing pad but still can't get them off. What else should I try?

If you're going to repaint, a wire brush on your drill or angle grinder would be fastest and most effective.

Wire wheel and re paint it. And then add gasket

Yeah.. wire wheel or some sander .. hit it with primer and bbq paint. Will be good .
