beer can turkey.

I want to smoke a beer can turkey. I was thinking about using a Fosters Lager beer can
Then setting it in one of my UDS. Has anyone tried this, & if so how did iy tutn out?
Any advise will be helpfull. Thanks Norman...

I actually used a Heineken keg can for beer can turkey to very satisfactory effect. Only did it in the oven but I think it will work with your method as well. Send pix!
