Beer can chicken

As a christian I do not drink nor do I buy adult beverages so my question is.........

What other beverage or canned liquid can I use to make this type of chicken and get great results?

You can use whatever kind of liquid that you want in the can: soda, chicken broth, etc.

Are you OK with buying O'Doule's (sp?) or Busch NA?  No alcohol but you still get the flavor vs. something sweet like soda.

I never thought about that. I guess I can just experiment and see what works. All it really costs is less than $10 for everything so it isn't like I am out a ton of money.
