These look great! I've done these before on my regular grill with thick cut bacon. I just precooked the bacon a tad first. Then wrapped them around the burgers. I used Poblano peppers that I hit with the broiler first to char the skin some.

Oh my, that's a damn burger!

Thanks crazymoon! They came out great for a first time trial run!

Gmc,

Yup need thinner bacon! Would have helped for sure and I knew it as I started building these monsters.

The two I did with mushrooms came out good from what I heard geebs. I crammed the shrooms in them. Couldn’t have fit anymore in there!

Steve,

I’m sure precooking the bacon would have helped. And Poblano peppers are great! Love stuffing those with cheese!

Thanks redheeler! I was surprised all 6 of us finished them! Not one person quit before they were all gone! Lol

Phil,

Thanks!

That might be where I first saw them a few years back. Like most things I forgot all about them until a forum member just made them a few weeks back. They looked great! And with my company the other night the time was right!

Ghost,

It’s more or less a nice blue print on how to stuff a burger. It works well. I’ve made stuffed burgers in the past that were not this size. Overall these came out great and I’d do it again for the right crowd.
